Am still working on my photography skills 🙂 so please bear with me

My Client Iyabo’s surprise shower was Ah-mazing! Good people + Good food + Good Game + Fun Bride = Fun Bridal Shower – that summarizes my experience.

I was opportuned to plan & host her shower on behalf of African Canadian Weddings and also her wedding which is coming up this Saturday. I must say she is such a Relaxed, Calm & Peaceful Person to work with. For some reasons, my brides have always being super duper amazing & gorgeous.

Anyway, I made a DIY Bridal Shower Banner for her and I am here sharing how I did it, what and what I used and the finished product.

What you need:
Scissors
Rope/twine or Ribbon
Paper, white or patterned, whatever will work in your printer
Cardstock
Glue dots or double sided tape
Single hole punch
Computer with word processing program & printer

Steps
Download the Banner Template. Type in each letter you need for your phrase.
Print the letters.
Use a paper trimmer to cut the letter boxes out.
Pre-cut cardstock sized slightly bigger than the letter boxes so you can use them as mats.
Attach each letter box to your cardstock mat using the glue dots. Make sure it’s centered properly!
Punch 2 holes at the top of each letter cards. For mine, I punched the cardstock).
Thread the ribbon through the holes without cutting the ribbon from the spool.
Once you’ve figured out how long the banner needs to be, tie a bow at each end and cut off the excess ribbon. And you’re done!
Affix onto wall with adhesive of your choice, or pin the ribbon ends onto fabric (table cloth, curtains or backdrop)

You can customize it as you like by;
Using different colours of cardstock for each mat.
Using textured, patterned or coloured paper for the letters.
Adding a border for each letter.

I hope this helps.

I will be sharing my client Engagement Photos & her Wedding very soon, but in the mean time, enjoy the pictures from the fun bridal shower session we had this past Saturday.

She was caught off guard. I took pictures of her initial reaction which was very funny, but i'd keep them for now instead of posting them. She was shocked!!
